Shumard, Erma A., age 78 of Jasper, MO, formerly of West Carrollton, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2014. She was born September 11, 1935 in Greenville, Tennessee, the daughter of the late David & Minnie (Haggard) Smelcer. Preceded in death by her husband Frank E. Shumard in 2005, a daughter Sharon Shumard, and a granddaughter Sabrina Shumard. She is survived by 2 sons Frank Shumard, Jr. (Leanna) of MO, Henry Shumard of WI, 3 daughters Mary Hobbs (Doug) of CA, Diane Stone (Larry) of TX, Darlene Valentine (Roger) of WI, her sister Marie Hunt of Dayton, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. A graveside service will be held on Friday, January 17, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery, West Carrollton. The family will receive friends on Friday from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
