Emillio O’Neal Guevara, Jr., 6-month-old infant son of Kerysten Butts and Emillio “Mio” H. Guevara entered into the Arms of Jesus on Sunday, October 25, 2026, at Dayton Children’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on April 16, 2026, in Dayton, Ohio. He was welcomed into Heaven by his maternal grandfather, Bryan E. Butts; his maternal great-grandmothers, Deanna Brewer-Peyton and Mary P. (Cofer) Butts; his maternal great-great-grandmother, Bonnie Ellison; and his paternal great-great-grandparents, Fred and Helen Rau.

He will be forever loved and remembered by his parents, Kerysten Butts and Emillio “Mio” H. Guevara; his big sister, Bryleigh Mae Butts; his maternal grandmother, Heather Peyton; his paternal grandparents, Amber Johnson and Edgar Guevara; his maternal great-grandfather, Kenny Peyton and wife Nora; his paternal great-grandparents, Constance “Connie” Johnson and husband Mark, and Michael Moore; his paternal great-great-grandmother, Charlotte Szabo; and his uncles and aunts, Kailum Butts, Aaliyah Butts, Michael Johnson, Jeremiah Johnson, Brian Guevara, Isiah Guevara, Kamila Guevara, Jaelynn Peyton, Kyle Johnson and wife Katherine. He also leaves many cherished family members, including his great-uncles and great-aunts, Billy “BJ” Peyton and wife Ashley, Brooke Peyton, Braden Peyton, Miranda Jones, Zach Shockley and Jason Brewer, his cousin Cameron Butts, along with numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will hold his memory close.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 31, 2026, at Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Saturday at the funeral home.
