Marsh, Elsie Merle, age 95 of West Carrollton, passed away Monday, June 27, 2016. She was born October 5, 1920 in Clanton, AL, the daughter of the late Tuck & Elsie Grada (Mims) Griffin. Merle was a long time member of the Central Presbyterian Church, and an avid golfer. Preceded in death by her husband James Ross Marsh in 1999, a son James Michael Marsh, and her sister Jeanette Williams. She is survived by a son John Marsh (Lynn) of TX, her daughter Debra Loffer (Jim) of ME, 6 grandchildren Todd Marsh, Angie White, Jimmy Marsh, Patrick Marsh, Matthew Hillard, Mary Hulse, 11 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren, 2 nieces Doris Johnson, Janice Shields, a nephew Stephen Surface, and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 12 Noon at the Central Presbyterian Church, 4699 Lamme Road, Dayton, Ohio 45439 with Rev. Clifford R. Haddox officiating. Burial Fairview Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. If desired memorial contributions may be made to the church in Merle's memory.
