Bankemper, Elsie M., age 98 of Miamisburg, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2014. She was born February 22, 1915 in Bonn, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Edward & Margaret (Reynolds) Johnson. Mrs. Bankemper was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church. Preceded in death by her husband Arthur in 1989, a son Charles T. Holt, 1 sister and 4 brothers. Survivors include her son James Bankemper of Miamisburg, 3 daughters Margaret Bankemper of Fairfield, Anne Clair Rose of Cincinnati, Mary Ruth Boehm of Milford, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Salem Lutheran Church, 4573 S. Union Rd., Miamisburg, with Pastor Jarl Andeer officiating. Burial Ellerton Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
