Reed, Ellen L., age 99 of West Carrollton, passed away on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at The Laurels of West Carrollton surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 23, 2017 in Jellico, Tennessee the daughter of the late Charles & Margaret (Aldridge) Smith. Mrs. Reed was a Seamstress for many years and retired from Rikes Department Store. Preceded in death by her husband James E. Reed in 1973, her daughter Janis Margaret Reed in 2005 and by 1 brother. She is survived by her granddaughter Shelia Oakes and husband Howie, her grandson Allan Ramsay (Toni League), 5 great grandchildren, 3 special nieces Veta, Phyllis, & Brenda as well as other family members and many friends.  A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 4, 2017 at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens with Rev. Joel Getts officiating. Arrangements entrusted to the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
