Edward R. "Ed" Sherrill, age 75 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 19, 2025, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on October 8, 1949, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Hoyt & Elizabeth (Clifton) Sherrill.

Ed graduated from West Carrollton High School in the class of 1968. He was a retired employee of Reynolds & Reynolds, and Waterford Senior Living with 30 years of combined service.

Preceded in death by the love of his life, and the mother of his daughter Karen Sue Doss on January 24, 2023, his daughter Tracey Lynn Sherrill, and by his brother and sister-in-law Jack & Mildred Sherrill.

He is survived by his loving daughter Sheila Pearson and husband Robert, 3 grandchildren Sydney Pearson (Ron Wills), Sierra Pearson (Cole Young) and Talon Pearson (Kylee Kieme), 3 great grandsons Asher Michael Sue Young, Jaxson and Samuel Taylor, his great granddaughter on the way Wrenlee Ann Pearson, and great grandbaby Young on the way, special friend Tracy Collier, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, March 24, 2025, at Evergreen Cemetery, 401 N. Miami Ave., West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Ohio's Hospice of Dayton in memory of Mr. Edward R. "Ed" Sherrill.
