Earl J. Rickey, age 87 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Miami Valley Hospital South. He was born on May 29, 1934 in Wilmington, Ohio, the son of the late Albert & Edith (Doss) Rickey.

Mr. Rickey honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Earl was a retired employee for TRW Global Industries with 40 years of service, and an active member of Moraine Heights Baptist Church for 66 years.

Preceded in death by his infant daughter Cheryl Kim Rickey, his grandson Zachary Hudson, and by 2 sisters Norma Henricks and Barbara Scaggs.

He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years Doris (Jackson) Rickey, his 4 children Michael Rickey and wife Teresa, Diana Hudson and husband Terrell, Gregory Rickey and wife Sharon, Susan Powers and husband Harold, 5 grandchildren Brandi Humble and husband Nick, Jonathan Hudson and wife Allison, Jena Schaeff and husband Alex, Jessie Lehner and husband Matt and Hannah Dell'Aria and husband Patrick, 13 great grandchildren Noah Lehner, Joshua Dell'Aria, Lydia Dell'Aria, Elsie Hudson, Grayson Humble, Sarah Dell'Aria, twins Graham & Logan Humble, Charlotte Lehner, twins Oscar & Oliver Schaeff, Elliot Hudson and Henry Lehner, 2 brothers-in-law Gilbert Hendricks & Elbert Skaggs, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at the Moraine Heights Baptist Church, 5661 Munger Rd., Dayton, Ohio with Dr. Terrell Hudson officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery with Full Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Saturday at the church.
