Earl D. Adkins, age 72 of Fairborn passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 20, 2022 at his home. He was born on March 28, 1949 in West Liberty, Kentucky, the son of the late Emory & Nona (Eldredge) Adkins.

Mr. Adkins honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Earl was a retired employee of the Dayton VA Medical Center with 15 years of service; and he was a member of the VFW Post #657 in Beavercreek.

Preceded in death by his wife Jolene Kay (Ison) Adkins on March 9, 2020 and 11 siblings.

He is survived by his 2 loving daughters Vanessa Quinn and husband Andrew & Kasey Rees and husband Jeff, his grandson Harrison James Rees, his brother Lonza Adkins, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Graveside Service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Friday, March 25, 2022 at the Byron Cemetery in Fairborn with Full Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard.  Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating.
