Dr. L. Bernard "Bernie" Rose, DDS, age 83 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Friday, August 16, 2024, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 15, 1941, in Canton, Kentucky, the son of the late Alfred C. & Reva B. (Taylor) Rose.

Bernie honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Dr. Rose was a Dentist for over 54 years, serving his community in West Carrollton and Miamisburg.

Preceded in death by his beloved wife Jolene S. (Combs) Rose on Feb. 2, 2017. Bernie and Jolene were high school sweethearts and married for 56 years.

He is survived by his 2 loving daughters Anjeanette "Anjie" Rose and Amanda Rose and husband Chris Robert, his 2 grandchildren Emma Rose Robert and Zachary Charles Robert, his sister-in-law Junell Mandich, and his niece Sheryl Kidd.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 23, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. A Private Graveside Service will be held at Miami Valley Memory Gardens, Centerville.
