Waitkus, Dorothy M., age 90 of West Carrollton, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 18, 1927 in Springdale, PA, the daughter of the late Adam & Dorothy (Freund) Rayburg. Mrs. Waitkus was a retired Switchboard Operator for Woody's Market with over 20 years of service and a member of the St. Henry Catholic Church for over 60 years. Preceded in death by her husband Paul F. Waitkus, Oct. 7, 2002, her daughter Lorene "Lori" Milson, October 29, 2017, and by a granddaughter Jessica McCabe, December 28, 2016. Survivors include her daughter Cynthia McCabe, son David Waitkus and wife Sandy, son-in-law Gary Milson, 3 grandchildren Amy Gabbard and husband Justin, Charles Milson and wife Kerry, Jonathan Milson, 4 great grandchildren Ryder Hammergen, Alivia Murry, Brayden Gabbard and Alexandra "Lexi" Milson, as well as other family members and many friends. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, February 12, 2018 at the St. Henry Catholic Church, 6696 Springboro Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45449 with Father Jim Romanello, Celebrant. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the time of Mass (1 hour prior) on Monday at the church. A private interment service will be held at Calvary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Dayton in Dorothy's memory.
