Meek, Don, age 85 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 17, 2019 at the Ohio's Hospice of Dayton. He was born on November 2, 1933 in Conover, Ohio the son of the late Everett & Mildred (Slack) Meek.

Mr. Meek honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy Korean Conflict. He was a Civil Engineer for Tri-City with 45 years of service. He attended St. Henry Catholic Church, and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles # 3615, Lakeview, Ohio, Elks Lodge # 2792, Russells Point, Ohio and the Moose Lodge # 1533, Lakeview, Ohio.

He is survived by his wife of 63 years Cindy Meek, his 2 sons Mark Meek and wife Mary Jo, and Mike Meek, and by 2 grandchildren Natalie Meek & Charlie Meek.

A Private Service will be held at Davids Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Greater Dayton or to Hospice of Dayton in Don's memory.  Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. www.swartfuneralhome.com.
