Dian Cantley, age 76 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at the Sycamore Trails Post Acute Care in Miamisburg, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on September 5, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Mary (Smith) Johnson. Dian was a former employee of General Motors with 20 years of service.

Preceded in death by her grandson Kyle Abney on June 1, 2003, and the father of her children Barry Cantley on March 20, 2022.

She is survived by her daughter Teresa Abney, her son Gary Cantley, her grandson Brandon Abney and wife Beth, her great grandchild on the way, her sister Pam Walters and husband Jack, 2 brothers Richard Helton and wife Shirley and Raymond Cain, her uncle Kenny Smith, her special friend Dee, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, July 18, 2025, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Bryan Heil officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Friday at the funeral home.
