Dennis "Denny" Harris, age 74 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at Kettering Health Network – Miamisburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 27, 1948, in Dayton, Ohio, the son of the late Regina (Kleck) & James Harris.

Denny was a graduate of Springboro High School Class of 1966 and completed his associate degree at Miami University in Middletown. He honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. Denny retired from Calvary Cemetery with 51 years of service in all parts of the day-to-day operations of the cemetery, including grounds maintenance and supervisor positions. He was a member of the Miamisburg Moose Lodge #1645, and an avid fan of the Cincinnati Bengals, OSU, and Notre Dame.

He is survived by his loving wife of 18 years Diane Baker-Harris, 3 daughters Nicole Peacock and husband Jeremy, Ashley Harris fiancé Brian Hurd, Lindsey Michonski and husband Patrick, his brother John Harris and wife Vicki, 8 grandchildren Dylan Schuder, Emma Schuder, Lucas Peacock, Connor Harris, Zack Crider, Jaxon Michonski, Bailey Michonski and Alan Michonski, his fur babies "Phoenix & Hailey", as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, May 23, 2023, at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 1625 Calvary Dr., Dayton, Ohio 45409 with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 22, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with expenses.
