Whisman, Deborah S. "Debbie", age 54 of Moraine, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 at Kettering Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born on May 28, 1964 in Dayton, Ohio. Debbie was the Owner & Operator of Debbie's Contract Services, and she was a member of the Moraine City First Church of God. Preceded in death by her mother-in-law Maudie "Marty" Whisman.

She is survived by her loving husband of 38 years Brian S.   Whisman, 2 daughters Krista Barnes (David), Jennifer Whisman (Joe Melvin), her parents Marion & Helen Geraldine (Audia) Ooten, sister Anna Cates, 2 brothers David Ooten and wife Jennifer, Bob Ooten and wife Tanya, 12 grandchildren Makenzie Whisman, Hailley Barnes, Cameron Whisman, Cameren Melvin, David Barnes, Jr., Kaleigh Melvin, Conner Kachelmyer, Peyton Barnes, Abigail Barnes, Ellie Barnes, Carter Kachelmyer, and Isabella Melvin, father-in-law Paul Whisman, sister-in-law Tyra Whisman, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7, 2019 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Donald Curtis officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.
