Hurd, Jr., David Glenn, age 32 of Dayton, passed away Friday, October 7, 2016. He was born November 23, 1983 in Dayton. Preceded in death by his father David Glenn Hurd, Sr., maternal grandfather Jack Hamby, and paternal grandmother Irene Hurd. David is survived by his mother Becky Hurd of Dayton, his sister Bethany Hurd of Dayton, maternal grandmother Lois J. Hamby of Dayton, paternal grandfather James Hurd, Sr., of Germantown, pets Toby, Jesse & Katie, and a host of aunts, uncles, other family members and friends. David loved music and at 15 years old was a prodigy guitarist, he loved to read and make people laugh. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, October 12, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
