David H. "Dave" Henry, age 80 of Muskegon, MI, formerly of West Carrollton, OH, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at the Harbor Hospice, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on August 26, 1944, the son of the late Clark & Anna Mae Henry.

Mr. Henry honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He attended Franklin High School. Dave was a former employee of Kimberly-Clark cutting & trimming paper, SAPPI Fine Paper Co., as a Trimming Foreman.

Preceded in death by his brothers Maurice Henry, Hal Henry, Ronald Henry, his sisters-in-law Norma Henry and Wanda Henry, his brothers-in-law Garrett Holt, Charles Gwin and Joe Vanover.

He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Janice "Jan" (Fahrney) Henry, his son Brad Henry, 2 brothers Dennis Henry and wife Judith Weller-Henry, Darrell Henry and wife Julie VanBuren, his 4 sisters Colleen Holt, Polly Gwin, Zelda Vanover and Sharon Goodwin, his granddaughter Jessica Henry, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Jeremiah Lewis officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery with Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. (1 hour prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Shelter of your choice in memory of Mr. David H. Henry.
