July 18, 1951 – May 11, 2022
David E. Clark, age 70 of Moraine, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 11, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital – Main Campus, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 18, 1951, in Norton, VA, the son of the late Byno & Birdie Clark.
Mr. Clark honorably served his country in the U.S. Army. He was a retired employee of the City of Moraine serving on the Street Dept. for over 28 years. David was a member of the West Carrollton Masonic Lodge #737, F & A.M., and the Wolf Creek Rod & Gun Club.
Preceded in death by the love of his life Sandra "Sandy" E. (LaMar) Clark.
He is survived by 2 sons David Clark, Jr., and wife Tammy, Jason Clark (Star Page), daughter Trisha Traylor and husband Stan, 8 grandchildren Nikki Clark (Stephen Johnson), Shelby Clark (Gary Neff), Jason "Bubby" Clark, Jr. (Hailey Pfeiffer), Katie Clark, D.J. Clark (Holly Dillow), Theodore Baker, Elliot Baker & Betsy Baker, 7 great grandchildren Ivee Johnson, Ethan Johnson, Silas Johnson, Evelyn Jean Neff, Rylin Manning, Emma Dale Neff, Liam Clark & Riley Clark, his best friend Jack Hoffman, his beloved fur babies "Leroy & Greta", as well as numerous other family members and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Thomas Clark officiating. Full Military Honors conducted by the Combined Honor Guard will begin at 7:00 p.m. with Masonic Services immediately following. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Wednesday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contribution may be made to the Tunnel to Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd, Staten Island, NY 10306 in Mr. Clark's memory.
