McKinney, Danny, age 66 of Columbus, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at the Countryview Nursing Home. He was born on August 21, 1952 in Dayton, the son of the late Park & Grace F. (Roach) McKinney.

Mr. McKinney honorably served his country in the U.S. Army; he was a former employee of Bank of America, Wonder Bread, Worthington Foods & Advanced Auto Parts, and he attended the Rejoicing Life Church of God. Preceded in death by his 3 sisters Dora Davidson, Carolyn Butas and Glenna Ball.

He is survived by his companion of 45 years Sun McKinney, son Joshua McKinney (Kristen), 2 daughters Rachael Ballengee (Jason), Vanessa Randall (Brian), brothers Rusty McKinney (Barbara), twin brother Dale McKinney (Tracy), half-brother Beverly McKinney, 5 grandchildren Zachary, Riley, Ellie, Hunter & Lincoln, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev.  John Corcoran officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home.
