Cory Matthew Lee "Bear" Ginter, age 28 and born November 8, 1989, entered into eternal rest Saturday, January 27, 2018, at his home. He was the beloved son of Kara Hensley.
Born in West Carrollton, OH, Cory loved to fish, skate board, and his favorite football team, The Colt's. Cory will be remembered for his loving heart, his contagious smile, kind soul, and outstanding cooking skills which were his passion. He loved all music and was a gifted drummer. He is preceded… in death by his Nana, Grace Ginter; great-grandparents, Rev. and Mrs. H.B. Wilson; and his best friend, Joseph S Coolidge.
Cory is survived by his loving mom and step-dad, Steven and Kara Hensley; his twin sister, Kali Ginter; sister, Chloe-Grace Ginter; brother, Colin Hensley; his favorite uncle, Marques Puckett and wife Andrea; grandparents, Lee Ginter and his wife Shirley, Brenda Ingram, and Joe Puckett; his daughter, Carina Ginter; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and amazing friends.
A celebration of Cory's life will be held at Woodland Hills Christian Church in Abingdon, VA on Sunday, February 4, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Viers officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018 at the Living Hope Church, 1150 W. Spring Valley Pike, Dayton, Ohio 45458 with Pastor John Gibson officiating.
