Cornett, Clyde V., age 82 of West Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014. He was born May 17, 1932 in McKee, KY, the son of the late Robert J. & Dora J. (Harrison) Cornett. Mr. Cornett was retired from General Motors with 30 years of service and also worked for NCR. Preceded in death by his son Steven V. Cornett, and his sister Lois Asher. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years Phyllis J. (Beatty) Cornett, his son Robert C. Cornett of Springfield, his daughter Cheryl J. Setty of West Carrollton, his brother Clifford Cornett and wife Mary of West Carrollton, 4 grandchildren Robert L. Cornett, Anthony R. Setty and wife Jessica, Alexander C. Setty, Benjamin J. Setty, his great granddaughter Trinity M. Setty, his special friend and golf buddy Uncle Homer Coomer, and many more loving family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 11, 2014 at 12 NOON from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Pastor Jim Shihady officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
