Charlotte L. "Char" Haacke, age 70 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at her home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on May 14, 1954, in Irvine, KY, the daughter of the late Deward & Dola (Estes) Dozier.
Mrs. Haacke was a retired Bus Driver for the Mad River School District with 19 years of service. She was a faithful member of the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene for 29 years and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Preceded in death by her brother Richard Dozier, her sister Alice "Faye" Frederick, her brother-in-law Gary Haacke and sister-in-law Pam Leonard.
She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years Roger Haacke, her 3 children Tonya Haacke Henry (Jay Rohr), Angie Haacke and fiancé Phil Pascoe, and Anthony "Tony" Haacke and wife Michelle, her brother-in-law Bob Frederick, her sister-in-law Janet Dozier, 7 grandchildren Aaron Henry and wife Nichole, Andrew Henry, Casey (Blevins) Holbrook and husband John, Catlyin Parrish and husband Aaron, Paul Haacke (Megan), Austin Haacke, and Ivan Haacke, 7 great grandchildren Ayden Henry, Jaxton Henry, Teghan Bartellis, Gannon Henry, Declan Parrish, Daisy Parrish and Waylon Holbrook, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Ken Haacke and wife Gail, Karen Meyers and husband Gary, Judy Weidner and husband Nick, Linda Smith (Dave), and Greg Haacke and wife Pat, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the West Carrollton Church of the Nazarene, 550 S. Elm St., West Carrollton, Ohio with Pastor Bryan Heil officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to the service) at the church on Saturday. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
If so desired memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Hospice, 580 Lincoln Park Blvd. Suite 320, Kettering, Ohio 45429 in memory of Mrs. Charlotte L. "Char" Haacke.
