Trent, Sr., Charles R., age 90 of Kingston of Miamisburg,  passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2015 at Sycamore Hospital.  He was born on November 9, 1924 in Powell County, KY., the son of the late Porter, Sr. & Edna (Little) Trent.  Mr. Trent was retired from General Motors with 42 years of service, was a Life Member of American Legion Post 165 and honorably served his country in the U. S. Army during World War II.  Preceded in death by his first wife Mary Etta in 1975 & second wife Delores in 2006, a daughter Sharon Kay, 2 brothers, Eugene & Joe, a grandson Jeremy Trent & brother in law Bob Melton. He is survived by 3 sons, Charles Trent, Jr of W. Elkton, Gary Trent (Pam) of Miamisburg, Johnny Trent (Terri) of Miamisburg, his daughter Denise Alsept (Terry) of Moraine, 3 step-children Tom Evans (Nora) of Miamisburg, Mike Evans (Cheryl) of Germantown, and Annette Jarnigan of Miamisburg, his brother, Porter Trent, Jr. (Judy) of Middletown, his sister, Virginia Melton of Miami Twp., 10 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and a host of other family & friends. The family would like to thank the staff of Kingston of Miamisburg & Sycamore Hospital for their care. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 4, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Rev. Vester Smith, Jr. officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery.
