Garwood, Charles E., age 84 of West Carrollton, passed away Thursday, November 6, 2014 at Hospice of Dayton. He was born October 15, 1930 in Dayton the son of the late Lawrence & Lucille (Moors) Garwood. Mr. Garwood was a truck driver with Pickrels Brothers and honorable served his country in the U.S. Navy. Preceded in death by 2 sisters Wilma & Patricia. Charles is survived by his wife Mary R. (Bevington) Garwood, his son David L. Garwood of Bellefontaine, his brother Don Garwood and wife Pat of Uruguay, 2 sisters Wanda Dunn and husband Kevin of FL, Betty Manning and husband Marshall of West Carrollton, as well as grandchildren, nieces, nephews and friends. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Daniel Moore officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Mrs. Garwood.
