Carolyn Meredith, age 77 of Miamisburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 21, 2024, at Kingston of Miamisburg, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on July 6, 1946, in Beattyville, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Henry & Maxine (Chapman) Tharp.

Mrs. Meredith attended Xenia Schools, she loved country music, (especially Billy Ray Cyrus), soap operas, and her black coffee. Carolyn enjoyed spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her sister Margaret Thomas, and by her 3 brothers Henry Tharp, Jr., Kenton Tharp, Dick Tharp, and ½ brothers John, Bob, and Al White.

She is survived by her daughter Tina Ellis, her son Robert Meredith, her sister Diane Pierce, her 3 grandchildren Courtney Howard and husband Stephen, Chelsea Ellis, and Chloe Ellis, her 2 great grandchildren Noah Howard and Clara Ellis, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
