Wood, Caroline L., age 95 of Miamisburg, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013. She was born March 21, 1918 in Cincinnati, the daughter of the late Virgil & Emma (Brinkman) Schaeffer. Preceded in death by her husband John Wood, 3 brothers Lynwood, Donnie, & Allen Schaeffer, and her sister Francis Schaeffer. She is survived by her 3 sons Robert L. Wood & wife Rhea of Medway, Mark S. Wood & wife Lita of New Carlisle, Jack A. Wood & wife Fern A. of Miamisburg, her daughter Vicky A. Haas & husband Lee E. of Germantown, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a great great grandson. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton with Rev. Rob Wackerman officiating.
