McGuffie, Carol "Sue", age 67 of Arcanum, passed away Friday, November 6, 2015. She was born August 3, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio the daughter of the late William & Edna (Williams) Matheny. Preceded in death by her brother Herb Matheny, sister Loretta Brewer, son-in-law Robert Birt, brother-in-law Junior Brewer, and sister-in-law Kathy Matheny. She is survived by her husband of  43 years William J. McGuffie, 3 sons William J. "Joe"  McGuffie, Jr. (Kelly) of Laura, John P. McGuffie (Celena) of Troy, Phillip E. McGuffie (Allison) of Pleasant Hill, 3 daughters, Robin D. Jankowski (Michael) of West Minster, MD., Billi S. Birt of Arcanum, Autumn J. Buckner (Dale) of West Milton, 3 brothers, Charles Matheny (Jeannie) of Arcanum, Larry Matheny of Arcanum, Wayne Matheny (Debbie) of Moraine, sister in law, Jean Matheny of Moraine, 17 grandchildren, Lance, Sydney, Bethanie, Madison, Mitchell, Casey, Landon, McKenzie, Jaxon, Jorden, William III, Lainey, Leon, Jude, Isaiah, Kinlee and Phillip II, 2 great grandchildren Rayne & Chloe, and a host of other family and many friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. At Sue's request there will be no public visitation.
