Stone, Bonnie L., age 89 of Centerville, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2014. She was born March 5, 1925 in Grainger County, TN, the daughter of the late Ellis & Julia (Mallicoat) Lakins. Bonnie was retired from General Motors with 25 years of service. Preceded in death by her husband John H. Stone, her son Dwight Stone, a brother Ellis Jr., and 3 sisters Louise, R. C. Irene, and Billie. She is survived by 2 brothers Frank Lakins and wife Myra of Centerville, Larry Lakins and wife Carol of West Carrollton, 3 sisters Mariana Waddell and husband Gail of Springboro, Grace Crouch of Centerville, Janet Walters and husband Bob of Kettering, 3 grandsons Zachary Stone of Chicago, Gabe Stone and wife Missy of Bellbrook, Joseph Stone of Kettering, 5 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 8, 2014 at 1:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. Burial Miami Valley Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday from 12 Noon until the time of service.
