Billie Carletta Combs, age 73 of Moraine, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 1, 2025, at Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was born July 31, 1952, in Surgoinsville, TN to the late William L. & Lois L. (Young) Golden.
Billie was a member of Grace Baptist Church in West Carrollton. She enjoyed gardening, reading cheesy romance novels with her sisters, baking and was known for her perfect gingerbread houses at Christmas time!
Preceded in death by her sister Jackie Garrett, her 3 brothers-in-law Clyde Robinett, Dennis Sparks and Wayne Garrett, her niece Jolene Sparks, and by her nephew Tommy Garrett.
She is survived by her loving family: her 2 sons William David Combs & Kevin Lee Combs, her siblings Ann Robinett, Frances Sexton, Donna Sparks, twins Charlotte "Char" & Charles "Charlie" Golden and Rhonda Quillen (John Weaver), 4 grandchildren Zoe Reagan Asher (Dustin Elam), William David "DJ" Combs, Jr., Mika Carletta Lynn Combs and Thomas James "Tommy" Combs, her great granddaughter Zindaya Elam, the mother of David's children Sarah Combs, her nieces and nephew Lois Quillen and husband Doug, Regina Robinett, Bobbie (Robinett) Middleton and husband Mike, Ronnie Robinett (Dawn Harbin), Teresa Sizemore and husband Dale, Paula Schmidt and husband Scott, Denise Lyn Raynor, her childhood best friend Linda Brooks, 4 special friends Wilma Quillen, Daniel Petitt, James "Hoss" & Bertha Justice, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 6, 2025, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Doug Criswell officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Swart Funeral Home to assist the family with final expenses.
