Beverly Irene Yost, age 83 of West Carrollton, passed way peacefully on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Trinity Community of Beavercreek, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on May 3, 1943, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late Evelyn Irene (Gustin) & Walter R. Stokes, Sr.

Beverly was a graduate of West Carrollton High School, Class of 1961, and retired as Assistant Vice President of JP Morgan Chase Bank. She was a faithful member of Grace Lutheran Church in West Carrollton and enjoyed gardening in her flower beds, as well as spending cherished time with her family and friends.

She will be lovingly remembered by her two sons Robert “Bobby” Spahr and wife Michelle, and Eric Spahr and wife Lisa, her brother Walter R. Stokes, Jr., her sister Anna Mae Stokes, her grandchildren Sarah Spahr, Ben Spahr and wife Lisa, Kaitlyn McKinney and husband Ian, Karoly Hogg and husband Kevin, Jordyn Spahr, Luke Spahr and wife Kate, great grandchildren Faith, Grace, Jude, Silas, Callum, Norman, Everett, Lucy, Myles, Sullivan, Dottie, and Sam, as well as other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, August 28, 2026, at Grace Lutheran Church, 410 E. Pease Ave., West Carrollton, Ohio with Pastor Phil Hohulin officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Park Cemetery in Beavercreek. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 27, 2026, at the church. Arrangements entrusted to the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton.
