Beverly J. Nicholson, age 82 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 4, 2024. She was born on May 8, 1941 in Peebles, Ohio, the daughter of the late Olive & Ora Everetts.

Beverly was a beautiful soul who loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She was a Bus Aide and retired from West Carrollton City School District after 17 years of service. Beverly loved and collected lighthouses and was an active member in her church community and has gone on to join several loved ones in Heaven.

Beverly was a light to those around her and loved to have a good laugh. She enjoyed chicken from KFC, reading her bible, drinking some good tea, and spending time with her family.

Preceded in death by her daughter Dreama Tipton on July 16, 2012, her sister Thelma Darlene, and by her brothers Dean & Richard.

She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Roger Nicholson, 3 children Terry Tipton and wife Tammy, Steve Tipton and Angela Penn, 8 grandchildren Tesha, Twyla, Terry, Jr., Steve, Jr.,  Travis, Tiffany, Preston, Brianna, 10 great grandchildren Haylee, Owen Derrick, Lily, Sophia, Tristan, Skylar, Carter, Riley, Jedix and by her great great grandson Sylas, nephew Scott Wiley, as well as numerous other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 9, 2024, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Greg Harger, Jenny Connelly and Laura Erikson officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Friday at the funeral home. If so desired memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist with the headstone expense.

Beverly's family will host a celebration of life at Payne Recreation Center in Moraine from 3-5pm following her burial on Friday, February 9, 2024. It will be a potluck so bring any food or items you'd like. Everyone is welcome. Payne Recreation Center, 3800 Main St. Moraine, OH 45439.
