Garrett, Betty S., age 83 of West Carrollton, passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Walnut Creek Nursing Center. She was born March 10, 1934 in Pennington Gap, Virginia, the daughter of the late Grover & Willie (Seals) Gibson. Preceded in death by her brother Kemp Gibson and her sister Martha Chandler. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Harold D. Garrett, her son David Garrett and wife Raelynn of West Carrollton, 3 daughters Diane Blanton and husband Gary of Dayton, Teresa Thompson of West Carrollton, Susan Wysong of West Carrollton, 2 brothers Willard Gibson of VA and Jimmy Wayne Gibson of West Carrollton, and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 7, 2017 at the Evergreen Cemetery with Pastor John Swint officiating.
