Betty L. Entingh, age 76 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 13, 2023, at Ohio's Hospice of Dayton, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 4, 1946, in Little Rock, AR the daughter of the late William & Cloie (Coffman) Newkirk.

Preceded in death by her husband of 33 years Thomas "Tom" Entingh, her son Timothy Newkirk, her brother William Newkirk, Jr., 2 sisters Charlotte Hoffman and Barbara Bond Brixey, 2 brothers-in-law Lee Hoffman and Ronald Brixey, her mother-in-law Marion Orr, and by her father-in-law Gerald Entingh.

She is survived by her daughter April Lee and husband Chris, her son Robert "Bobby" Leighly, her step-daughter Bobby Jo Helgeson (her mean step-mom for 53 years), 6 grandchildren Stephen Strickland, Alicia Strickland, Nicholas Wilz, Elli Lee, Emma Lee and Errin Lee, her great grandson Weston Nichols, her fur babies Copper, Autumn and Cider, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 18, 2023, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Rev. Dr. Joel Getts officiating. Burial Highland Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Thursday at the funeral home.
