Austin Ray Wright, age 29 of Miamisburg, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2026, at Kettering Health Network – Main Campus. He was born on June 6, 1997, in Dayton, Ohio.

Austin graduated in 2015 from Valley View High School and the Miami Valley Career Technology Center. He worked as a heavy equipment operator for several companies throughout his career. Austin enjoyed throwing darts and cheering for the Carolina Panthers and the Oklahoma Sooners. Above all, he treasured the time he spent with his two little girls, his family, and his friends.

Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather Eugene L. Wright, and maternal grandparents Sylvia M. & Johnnie C. McKenzie.

Austin will be lovingly remembered by parents Tanya G. McKenzie and Anthony Ray “Tony” Wright, his 2 daughters Aumarie Rayne and Aspyn Joanne Wright, his brother Cody E. Wright, his paternal grandmother Gaye N. Wright, grandfather Mark Coffield, aunt & uncle Tonya (Wright) Lee and Ronnie Miller, uncle John Richard “Ricky” McKenzie, cousins Brooklyn Miller, Brody Miller, Jessica Hulsmeyer, John Richard “JR” McKenzie, Jr., Isaac McKenzie, Logan McKenzie and Julius McCartney, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. Burial will follow at Hillgrove Cemetery in Miamisburg. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home.
