Ashley Lynn Garrett, age 37 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Kettering Medical Center. She was born on December 25, 1983 in Kettering, Ohio.

Ashley was a former Bank Teller for Fifth Third Bank and Code Credit Union. She loved all kinds of animals and collecting dolphins.

Preceded in death by her maternal grandfather Theodore "Ted" Russell, her paternal grandparents Glenn & Barbara Garrett and uncle Terry Griffin.

She is survived by her loving daughter Skylar Young, her parents Ronald & Marilyn "Mitzi" (Russell) Garrett, her brother Cory Garrett, maternal grandmother Evelyn Russell, uncle Darin Russell and wife Lee Ann, aunt Leslie Simonton and husband Craig, aunt Debby Gould and husband Allen, aunt Verna Garrett, uncle Don Garrett and wife Shirley, aunt Glenna Griffin, nephew Aiyden and niece Kaylee, cousins "The Christmas Belles" Shannon Carroll & Jennifer Lemons, Matt Bush, Christina Williford, Angela Boggess, Jeremy Dailey, Desteny Quillen, Jason Griffin & Adam Griffin, the father of her daughter Chris Young & fiancée Carly Shockley and boyfriend Jason Richards, as well as numerous other family members and many friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Dr. Dan Flory officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) at the funeral home on Thursday.
