Brown, Arlene K. "Ardie", age 71 of Moraine, passed away Sunday, August 18, 2013. She was born April 18, 1942 in Arlington, Ohio, the daughter of the late Edgar & Maude (Poor) Marquet. Preceded in death by her son Doug Van Meter. Ardie is survived by her husband of 20 years Gary L. Brown, 2 sons Todd Van Meter and wife Leni of TX, Michael Brickles and wife April of Huber Heights, 2 daughters Debbie Dean of Cincinnati, Tonya Van Meter of Miamisburg, 2 sisters Barbara Yoder and Mary Lou Blosser, numerous grandchildren as well as other family members and friends. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens Chapel, 1639 E. Lytle Five Points Rd., Centerville, Ohio 45458, with burial to follow. The family will receive friends on Thursday from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton.
