Anita Louise "Nita" Ladd, age 77 of Dayton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Miami Valley Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 17, 1944, in Dayton, Ohio, the daughter of the late James David Ladd & Rosemary I. (Weckel) Humerick.

Preceded in death by her stepfather Charles G. Humerick, and by her 3 sisters Glenna Bond, Doris Davidson, Carolyn Baker.

She is survived by 5 sisters Alice Tackett and husband Dwight, Nancy Zecher and husband Bill, Jody Watts, Shari Weidner & Wanda Sexton, 6 brothers David Ladd and wife Wilma, Charles Humerick, Jr., Harold Humerick and wife Pawnee, Danny Humerick and wife Lisa, Russell Humerick and wife Nancy, and Gordon Humerick, brother-in-law Bill Bond, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relative and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 4, 2022, at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Wayne Mock officiating. Burial Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior to service) on Monday at the funeral home.
