Rose, Alvin M., age 102 of Miamisburg, passed away Monday, August 13, 2012. He was born August 7, 1910 in Indianapolis, IN, the son of the late Walter & Rosie Rose. Alvin was retired from McCalls with 43 years of service and a member of the Centerville Church of Christ. Preceded in death by his wife Mary A. Rose, a son Dale Rose, and his sister Emma Bettcher. He is survived by his son Mel Rose and wife Janice of Miami Township, a daughter-in-law Sue Heitz of MI, 2 grandchildren Al Rose and wife Beth of TX, Steve Rose and wife Maureen of Columbus, and 4 great grandchildren Matt, Mitch, John, and Chris. Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 17, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. from the SWART & WOLFE FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton, with Minister J.D. Cash officiating. Burial Hillgrove Cemetery.
