Quillen, Lelia Louise, of Dayton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 15, 2018 after battling numerous chronic illnesses over several years. With strength, determination and many prayers from family and friends she continued to beat the odds and surpass all expectations of her physicians and health care providers.
She was born 75 years ago in Appalachia, VA to the late Lloyd and Rosa Livesay.
Waiting in Heaven to be reunited with her was her beloved husband of 56 years Dwight Quillen. Also waiting were her precious grandsons Ariyen & Ayce Phillips, her brothers Bill & Doug Livesay and her sister Barbara Talbott.
She leaves behind her most precious treasures, her daughters Pam Otto, Vickie (Carl) Hannah, Nicole (David) Quinn, her grandchildren Kelsey Hannah, Mikey (Lacie) Otto, Kailey Hannah, Jaxon Quinn, Holdyn Quinn, Julian Otto & Atticus Phillips. She also leaves behind her brother Ronnie Livesay, and several brothers-in-law & sisters-in-law, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to her respiratory therapist Rebecca & all of her caregivers at The Pavilion at Piketon Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Miami Shores Baptist Church, 4000 Vance Rd., Moraine with Pastor Doug Surber officiating. Burial will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Monday at the church.
