Keith E. Thompson

Thompson, Keith E., age 73 of West Carrollton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 22, 2019 at the Kettering Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born on August 28, 1945 in Dayton, Ohio the son of the late Forest L. & Frances Katherine (Doubrava) Thompson.

Mr. Thompson was a Sheet Metal worker for Schreiber Sheet Metal, Reco Metal, and retiring from Precision Metal Fabrication with 25 years of service.  He also served on the West Carrollton Fire Department as a Firefighter and EMT with 35 years of service.

Preceded in death by his brother Kerry G. Thompson and his sister Katherine Whaley.

He is survived by his loving wife of  53 years Patricia A. (Puterbaugh) Thompson, his daughter Tammy S. Thompson, his son Brian E. Thompson, his granddaughter Bayleigh C. Thompson, brother Kenneth L. Thompson, sister-in-law Sue Thompson, 2 brothers-in-law Michael Puterbaugh and wife Patsy, and Ronnie Puterbaugh and wife Judy, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, 2019 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton. The West Carrollton Fire Dept. will conduct an Honor Service at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday. Please share condolences at www.swartfuneralhome.com.
