Spillman, Harold, age 95 of Farmersville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at his home. He was born on April 5, 1923 in Burch, WV, to the late Jay & Barbara (Carey) Spillman.
Mr. Spillman honorably served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII in the Paratroopers 17th Airborne; he was a 65 year member of the West Carrollton Masonic Lodge #737 F & AM, and a member of the Dayton Pilots Club.
Preceded in death by his wife Lorraine Spillman in 2015 and by his sister Edith Priode.
He is survived by his loving daughter Sandy Ashley and husband Clem, 2 grandchildren Clebert Ashley & Channing Ashley (Betty), 4 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild, 2 nephews Lewis Priode (Connie) and Frank Priode (Janet), as well as other relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be held at 12 Noon on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 at the Swart Funeral Home, West Carrollton with Pastor Joel Getts officiating. Burial will follow at the Miami Valley Memory Gardens with Military Honors. The family will receive friends from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
