Hopkins, Dorothy Jean, (Musgrove), age 87 of Franklin, passed away peacefully in the arms of Jesus on Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Hospice of Butler & Warren Counties. She was born on January 18, 1931 in Charleston, West Virginia, the daughter of the late Raymond & Martha (Hartley) Vaughan. Preceded in death a brother Jackie Lee Vaughan, and a sister Geneva Shotwell. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years Jack Hopkins, 5 children Michael Lynn Musgrove and wife Vicky, Randy Lee Musgrove , Steven Frank Musgrove and wife Patty Lynn, Philip Dean Musgrove and wife Tracy, her daughter Carol Jean (Musgrove) Martin, Jack’s children Randall Jack Hopkins and wife Mindy, Judith Ann Smith and husband Richard, Shari Brown (Bronson Sheek), 2 brothers Denver Vaughan, Edward “Sonny” Vaughan, 2 sisters Sandra (June) Paluzzi, and Ruth Ann Scearce, 9 grandchildren Lisa, Rob, Shane, Chad, Joey, Corey, Justyn, Jordan & Stephanie as well as numerous great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 6, 2018 at the SWART FUNERAL HOME, West Carrollton. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. (2 hours prior service) on Saturday at the funeral home.
